"close your eyes and listen," the raspy voice said, "you've heard the tale of the sirens, haven't you? oh well, you'll learn soon enough. sailors be warned, it is not a pretty tale, it is a beautiful tale. you have left your family behind in hopes of a search for a better life. with a few golden coins jiggling in your pocket, you make your way across the stormy sea. you look up, a storm is brewing. the sky that formerly guided you has turned it's back, abandoning you to spend eternity in the endless abyss. you can taste the thick, salty air on your tongue. the fog takes hold of your innocence. you are lost. yet you hear something in the far distance. it reminds you of your wife singing to your beautiful new born son, the ones you have left behind. you are captivated, they have trapped you. you steer the ship through the fog and towards the haunting song. you have no longer a mind of your own. your eyes are wide, yet empty. the fog clears as the source of the voices come into vision. their silver-blonde hair, laughing in the bitter wind. there are three. everything comes in threes. you steer faster, eager to step foot on the island with the beautiful women. and then everything is quiet. you hear lightening and then a crash. your ship has hit the rocky coast. you had not noticed the sharp, jagged rocks before, only the women. they still captivate you, your eyes never leaving their mouths. they sing once again, smiles on their faces. your ship is sinking beneath you. you become part of the ocean. be warned of the siren song; it is lethal..."
